The primary objective of AFFPIN is the development project of Manjeri Children's Home & School in the Mukono District of Uganda. AFFPIN started its building campaign in 2005 with one dormitory block. With the completion of the construction program, AFFPIN plans to take in more children from the surrounding villages. This will ensure that more local children are able to be cared for, providing a safe learning and home environment.

A five years extensive construction plan commenced mid 2005. The construction of the first dormitory block was completed in January 2007.

With the first phase of the construction plan completed, the remaining construction plans involve further dormitory blocks, separate administration building, shower block, dining hall and teachers' accommodation. To raise funding for this project, AFFPIN is looking for volunteer building organisations, international fundraising agents, funding organisations and charity organisations to help in its building program.

Currently Manjeri hosts 384 children aged from 5 to 10 years from the poorest local families. At this stage AFFPIN has not been able to construct any permanent classrooms and education is provided under makeshift structures. Classes which cannot be conducted under these makeshift structures are held under tree shade.
